THE SANCTUARY:
Jacobs Ridge is a vegan animal sanctuary in southern Spain and UK registered charity. We provide a home to over 140 rescued animals (horses, donkeys, goats, pigs, sheep, cats and dogs), giving them the chance to live the rest of their lives without fear.
Our ethos is "Life Without Fear" because we believe that every animal has the right to live without fear. We, too, try to live without fear and encourage our volunteers to do the same.
The sanctuary is run by a small team and the day to day running of the animal sanctuary, the administration duties and the ongoing financial management means that we are spread very thin. We are therefore recruiting for an animal care assistant to oversee the help with the daily running of the animal care aspect of the sanctuary.
